Hey sports fans, SPP Sports is excited to announce that the launch of the Phoenix Sports Fans Choice Awards was a huge success!

Each year we honor outstanding athletes in the marketplace, this year we are pleased to announce that your Phoenix MVP honors went to Larry Fitzgerald of the Cardinals, and Rising Star honors went to Tim Hightower - also of the Cardinals.

An Outstanding Team Achievement Award was presented to the Arizona Cardinals for their fantasic 2008 season.

A special Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Jerry Colangelo for all that he has given to the sports world - in particular here in Phoenix.

Neil Rackers (Cardinals) and Amar'e Stoudemire (Suns), were both honored for their outstanding community service, and their selfless giving back to those in need.

It was a star-studded cast with more than 30 athletes in attendance and great sports comedy. This year's net proceeds benefited the Phoenix Boys and Girls Clubs, as well as the Spina Bifida Association of Arizona.

There will be a 30-minute exclusive program to be aired later this month on TV for fans that were not able to join us, check back for air dates.
