Hey Sports Fans, the 3rd annual Boston Sports Fans Choice is coming to town!

The event is closed to the public, but if you cast your vote today (click here) - - you could be eligible to win a chance to be on the Red Carpet with your favorite Boston stars.

Check out this year's line-up as we plan to present a Team Championship Award to the Celtics and two Commitment to Excellence presentations - honoring both Paul Pierce of the Celtics and Curt Schilling of the Red Sox.

There will be a series of Hometown Heroe Awards handed out to players from our pro-teams for their selfless work in the community. We'll be raising money this year for both the Ben Watson and the Ty Warren foundations through our silent auction. And look forward to hosting a live auction this year to recognize and raise money for the Paul Pierce Foundation.

This program annually showcases the best of Boston sports. The ballot is set - now you make the call; tell us who your favorite athletes are, why they should win, and you may win a chance to walk the Red Carpet with them. The exclusive Red Carpet Show will air later on Comcast Sports Net - check out WBCN and WZLX for special on-air radio giveaways the week of September 8.
