Thank you Boston for a wonderful 6th annual Boston Sports Fans Choice Award Show!

This year many players from our local sports teams were in attendance at this star-studded evening.

There was a special tribute to the Boston Bruins, as well as award presentations to the 'Staples MVP' and Rising Star winners!

Your 2011 SFCA 'Staples MVP' honors went to Bruins Goalie Tim Thomas.

The Staples MVP Award brought, to you in part by Intel, is presented annually to a top Boston pro athlete for his outstanding contributions on the field.

The 2011 Rising Star winner was Rob Gronkowski of the Patriots.

We honored Kevin Buchanan of the Cannons, and Kevin Faulk of the Patriots with our Hometown Hero Awards for their exceptional involvement with local community endeavors.

This year we also recognized some very special kids from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston for their academic and community achievements.

Net proceeds from this year's event benefited the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston.
