This year's Celebrity Flag Football Challenge really heated up the beach in St. Pete!

Hey, sports fans, did you catch all the super action in Tampa The 7th Annual Celebrity Flag Football Challenge®, the Official Celebrity Flag Football Game Super Bowl Weekend, took place on Saturday, January 31, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Tradewinds Island Resort on St. Pete’s Beach. Thousands packed the beach to cheer on past and present NFL players and other sports greats, as they went head to head in this year's Celebrity Flag Football Challenge. Our Halftime entertainment featured The Flutie Brother's Band, and dance numbers from the students at the Dance Studio.

In conjunction with Sports Illustrated and Clear Channel Radio, we had our Sideline Coaches on the beach, helping their teams strategize their gameplans!

Lucky winners from the Sweetbay Kids Scrimmage promotion, got to kick off the afternoon by playing in a pregame scrimmage with some amazing NFL greats! Throughout the afternoon prizes, raffles, silent auctions, special product sampling compliments of Coca Cola, and various kids zones were available to all attendees.

Players this year included: Doug Flutie, Chad Ocho Cinco, Bernard Berrian, Clinton Portis, Travis Fisher, Greg Olsen, Willis McGahee, Devin Thomas, Kevin Smith, Mike Jenkins, Sidney Rice, Rock Cartwright, Drayton Florence, Phillip Buchanon, Keiwan Ratliff, Cato June, Andre Hall, Jeff Blake, Glenn Holt, Otis Wilson, Eddie Drummond, and Tae Bo Master - “Billy Blanks”.
