TThis year the 6th annual Softball Challenge USA, an SPPSports star-studded celebrity game, kicked-off the MLB all-star week excitement, Friday, July 11, at KeySpan Park, in Brooklyn, New York. This year's event raised money for the NYPD and the FDNY charitable foundations. SPP Sports also coordinated with various corporations to secure VIP tickets for the local children's hospitals and pediatric cancer organizations.

In addition to the exciting game - the evening included:

A Kids Home Run Derby Contest with the athletes.

Private autograph sessions for lucky consumer winners.

Fireworks over at Coney Island.

Jonathan "Jazz" Biggs; Hip Hop singer and motivational speaker.

And, The Knicks City Kids.

An extended silent auction was featured as well, and helped raise additional funds for NYPD and FDNY Foundations

We are thrilled that more then 12 Children’s outreach programs joined us at this year’s event - including several groups from the Mayor's office.

Attendees were also able to enjoy the #1 Mall Tour; ‘It’s Kids Time Xtreme’®, an interactive kids zone.

Joined by some of your favorite athletes from the Knicks, Nets, Giants and Jets, local comedians and Tae Bo creator Billy Blanks - this was an another wonderful fun filled family event!
